Aine Cronin-McCartney is freelance music journalist, content creator and music manager.
After graduating from Ulster University with a degree in Journalism and Photo-Imaging, I launched my own website ainecroninmccartney.com where I posts reviews, interviews and vlogs including my own original series ‘My Top Five in NI’.
Previous to my degree studies I completed my NCTJ Diploma in Journalism and worked at a number of different media platforms including Local Women, BBC Radio Foyle, Kerrang! and more. A regular contributor to BBC Radio Ulster’s premier music show Across the Line, Aine has reported live, interviewed and presented from various festivals and events while also taking over full presenting responsibilities.
Aine has previously worked for the Oh Yeah Music Centre on social media and marketing campaigns while also helping to develop their website. Spending six months at Belfast based management company Champion Sound, Aine worked on creative content for each of their NI based artists.
In May 2019, I launched my own music management company, Flux Music Management where I work with Derry based Indie-folk artist Reevah and committed to helping artists further build their brand and lead successful campaigns.
In 2019, I presented my first show on BBC Radio One when I covered for Huw Stephens on the BBC Music Introducing show over the Christmas period. You can listen below!
